He is one of the young talents of new Rumanian literature. His first book, The Puppeteer (2003), won several prizes, including the Mihai Eminescu Opera PrimaNational Prize and the Promethevs Prize for the best literary debut.

He has published volumes of poetry Domestic Circus (2005), Rumanian Academy Poetry Prize, and Un anotimp in Berceni (2009).

He has also translated several novels from French, English and Italian poetry. His poems have been published in German, French, Polish, Serbian, Slovenian, Spanish, Czech, Bulgarian and Korean.  He co-wrote the play Deformations, debuted in 2008 in Bucharest.
