Félix Romeo

He was an intern at the Residencia de Estudiantes in Madrid. He was imprisoned for a crime of disobedience and Fernando Trueba shot a short film about his time in prison for the feature film Lumière et compagnie, which included participation from, among others, David Lynch, Spike Lee, Win Wenders and Michael Haneke.

For five years he directed the TVE cultural programme called La Mandrágora, presented by Lara López, which won an Ondas award.

He has published three novels: Dibujos animados (Ícaro prize), Discothèque and Amarillo, which tells the story of his friend Chusé Izuel (author of the book Todo sigue tranquilo), who committed suicide in Barcelona in 1992. He was writer in residence at Aberdeen University (Scotland) during the 2004-2005 academic year. He works for several media: Radio 3, ABC, Letras Libres, Revista de Libros, Heraldo de Aragón...
