Gabrielle Duplantier /
Bayonne, 1978 /
After studying Painting and Art History at the University of Bordeaux, Gabrielle Duplantier decided to go into photography. She moved to Paris and worked as photographer's assistant, but later felt the need to move back to her own environment. Inspired by a rich and enigmatic Basque landscape, she began to work on a series of photographs of people lost in vast spaces. Duplantier also specialises in portraits of women.
