Stephen Watts /
London, 1952 /

He has authored the poetry books The Lava's Curl, Gramsci and Caruso and The Blue Bag , as well as the collections Houses and Fish, Voices of Conscience, Mother Tongues and Music While Drowning . His work has been translated into numerous languages. He collaborates regularly in projects with visual artists and is a cofounder of the Multicultural Arts Consortium of London where multilingual poetry festivals are organised. At the moment he is working on a video poem about Italian immigration to the United Kingdom and a bibliography on the poetry of the 20th Century translated into English which will be published in the near future.
