This film was made over a period of 4 years in a small grocery store on the outskirts of Paris, the only meeting place for the locals of almost a hundred nationalities. The chats between the neighbours and Ali's songs set the scene for a social documentary highlighting the importance of friendship, laughter and human warmth.
